Tacha drags People Celebrating Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

Former Big Brother housemate Tacha, in a video on instagram, has dragged the Nigerians who are celebrating Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala but disregard the female child.

The reality star blasted those that fail to acknowledge the female child but applauded Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as she became the first woman to be chosen as the Director-General of the WTO.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the former Finance Minister of Nigeria was appointed the Director-General of the World Trade Organization and many have taken to social media to celebrate her. Many Nigerians have taken to social media to share pictures of themselves dressed in Native attire with headgear to celebrate Okonjo-Iweala with the hashtag #BeLikeNgoziChallenge.

Ngozi Iweala-Okonjo’s success sparked lots of reactions from Nigerians who started a trend to celebrate her new achievement on social media.

Tacha also took to social media to celebrate Ngozi for her achievement as she praised her being a beacon of Excellence and an inspiration to Nigerians.

“Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is a beacon of Excellence and an inspiration to all Nigerians.
I celebrate you ma.
Big CONGRATULATIONS! Thank you for steadily changing the narrative.

#BeLikeNgoziChallenge,” she wrote.

However, the reality star also blasted some Nigerians who applauded Okonjo-Iweala but failed to recognize the significance of the girl child in the society.

Tacha took to Instagram to call out those who are not in support of girl child education but are celebrating Okonjo-Iweala’s success. She abuse the people who don’t want to recognise the female child.

In the video on Instagram, Tacha told people who don’t regard the girl child to shut their mouths and stop being hypocrites.

According to the Big Brother Naija star, anyone who supports the marriage of underage girls or anyone who does not try to stop the marriage of underage girls in their society should not join in celebrating Okonjo-Iweala.
