Ghanaian dancehall act Stonebwoy as told his fellow artiste, Shatta Wale, to not assume that its all cosy and rosy between the both of them as there is still much work to be done for them to get there.
Stonebwoy made this comment after Shatta Wale made claims that the former had refused to pick up his calls since their battle in September which was organized by Accra based Asaase Radio.
Shatta Wale speaking in a recent interview with Kwaku Manu addressed rumours that there seems to be a misunderstanding between himself and his colleague dance hall artiste. He sort of affirmed this by stating that he tries to call Stonebwoy but he does not pick up.
“He knows the particular number I call him with yet he still doesn’t answer when I call him,” hinting that Stonebwoy purposely ignores him.
Stonebwoy on the other hand has debunked the claims made by Shatta Wale that they fell apart after the Asaase Radio Soundclash.
The ‘Putuu’ crooner says that as far as he is concerned, even though they do not have a perfect relationship, the September Soundclash, plays no role in their lack of perfect camaraderie.
“I dey hear hear some phone call issues. @shattawalegh you know I’m cool with you…we can’t assume that we are like “bread and butter” already,” Stonebwoy tweeted
In the same tweet, he revealed that he was yet to receive a reply to a text he had earlier sent to Shatta Wale.
“Small small okay bro, the last time I checked you haven’t even replied your WhatsApp yet,” he stated.
