Ashaiman, Ghana – It will be recalled that yesterday, social media was agog with news that former BHIM Nation signee, Kelvyn Boy had been manhandled somewhere in Ashaiman a suburb of Tema in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
Few moments after the event, the artist sparked controversy when he released a couple of cryptic tweets trying to make it look as though his former record label boss, Stonebwoy a.k.a Livingstone Etse Satekla was complicit in the event. These led to a lot of rumours and speculations flying wild across various social media.
The Burniton Music Group has however come out with a press release to distance both itself and its President from the event. The press release indicated that the ambiguous and open-ended posts by Kelvyn Boy gave room for various forms of interpretation which could lead to the tarnishing of the image of their globally acclaimed dance hall artist, Stonebwoy. They further indicated that no body guard of Stonebwoy or employee of the Burniton Music Group was involved as is purported to have been shown in a short video clip which has been making the rounds on social media and assumed be a recording of the Kelvyn Boy accosting event.
The label has instead asked people to go get their copies of Stonebwoy latest album, the Anloga Junction and ignore unfounded rumours.
