Sarkodie to Host Live Virtual Concert

Ghana rap King, Sarkodie Obidi pon bidi, known in real life is Michael Owusu Addo will be hosting a live virtual concert on the 16th of August this year 2020.

Sarkodie will be doing the live virtual concert in collaboration with Virtual Reality Tech company CEEK.

CEEK specialises in bringing live entertainment events such as musical concerts, sporting shows among others to their subscribers right in the comforts of their homes, offices or wherever they might find themselves, using 3D devices. As such, CEEK users are able to feel like apart of an event by just putting on their 3D wearables, for example, Facebook’s Oculus and other 3D devices that have been configured to be able to use CEEK’s platform.

The company has hosted hundreds of virtual concerts in collaboration with stars across the globe like Bon Jovi, DL Hughley, Ziggy Marley, Demi Lovato, Take That, Lady Gaga among others.

CEEK is led by Ghanaian-American, Mary Spio, who has had a rich experience in the global tech scene having worked with the likes of Microsoft and Universal Music. She currently sits on the board of a number of renowned companies, including that of Facebook.

Rapper Sarkodie has been actively promoting the up coming concert on his social media pages where he has been conducting polls to seek input from his fans on their song preferences for the night of 16th of August. The show would be streamed live on ceek.com making it possible for those who do not even have access to 3D equipment or devices to still watch it on their phones, computers, tablets, TVs and others electronic devices in 2D mode.

A good number of Sarkodie’s fans are excited about this August concert and have been seen gearing up feverishly for it as is palpable from the numerous social media posts making rounds.
