Peter Odemwingie and Peter Okoye end their Spat

Social media was surprised to see Nigerian stars Peter Okoye of P Square and Odemwingie, former player of the Super Eagles throw jabs at each other.

Music star Peter Okoye and former Nigeria football attacker Peter Osaze Odemwingie threw jabs at each other over Peter Okoye’s post about a dance challenge.

However, the two seem to have pushed the misunderstanding aside and embraced each other.

Speaking on his Instagram page, the footballer told the musician he was sorry if he had in any way offended him, that he didn’t mean to judge or condemn his business.

MR P and the ex-Nigerian striker Peter Odemwingie had a counter with each other on social media when Osaze told Peter to “not rub people in broad daylight with his nonsense business.”

“who dey do dis new dance challenge dis Christmas December period? You dey on your your own.”

Reacting to his statement, Okoye responded sharply saying, he’s disappointed in the footballer as his business is” a registered and liscenced lottery platform just like every other locally, and abroad “

However, Okoye has responded that he’s accepted Osaze’s apology and that he also is sorry for calling him out.

In his words on his Instagram page he said, “Apology accepted bro! So sorry for calling you out as well remain blessed 1love #Icomeinpeace”
Osaze further explained that the reason for calling Peter out was because of a video he saw on the latter’s Instagram page showing as a boy stole his mother’s last five hundred naira to gamble.

He added that gambling is supposed to be discouraged, not lauded because so many people go to extra miles like borrowing and stealing to do this. And that gets him worried.

He continued to say that in 2019, one gambling company approached him to give him an endorsement deal but he turned down the deal because he reasoned how some people get too addicted to gambling.
