WorldRemit, one of the current leading the global digital money transfer service just this Tuesday revealed popular Nigerian musician, Patoranking as the Global Brand Ambassador for its Africa-focused WorldRemit Entrepreneurs Program.
The Entrepreneurs Program being run by WorldRemit would allow participation and entries from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Zimbabwe, and it starts from November 2020 all through to January 2021.
How the program works is that WorldRemit customers from around the world are encouraged to send a minimum of £50 (or its equivalent value in their local currency) to recipients in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya or Zimbabwe. After this is done, they and stand the chance of winning a slot to nominate a lucky entrepreneur in any of these countries for the program.
Patoranking’s role as Global brand ambassador, would be to help to drive awareness for this promotion and the program, by highlighting how WorldRemit is working to create opportunities for African entrepreneurs.
The musician is also set to promote his partnership with WorldRemit and additionally encourage people to participate in the competition which aims to help build enterprises across the African continent.
Speaking on his ambassadorial engagement, he said:

WorldRemit’s says that it chose Patoranking as its Global brand ambassador largely due to his ‘grass-to-grace’ story, coupled with his determination to excel in music and his passion to help others through education and entrepreneurship in Africa – which is a current initiative he has running with the African Leadership University (ALU).
Furthermore, the company believes that the artiste’s ‘can-do’ spirit and immense talent has led to his huge success in Africa’s reggae-dancehall music scene, which has consequently made him a successful music entrepreneur.
