Veteran Nigerian rapper, Biglo, is said to have passed on. It was revealed that the artiste died of a kidney disease.
This information was disclosed on Sunday afternoon when his partner and friend paid his tribute on Social media.
Words came out that the Biglo died at 42 years. He died on December 25, Christmas day, after he battled with a kidney disease.
Sam Klef, indigenous Nigerian producer, in exact words, wrote on his Twitter handle: “Life is 2 short. Rapper Biglo dies after a long battle with a kidney ailment. RIP BIGLO.”
Ruggedman, also a Nigerian artiste, wrote: “I am weak but God knows everything. I am happy to have met you and been your friend. You and your one style shoulder dance. Rest on my brother. I celebrate you.
Jazzman Olofin, his colleague and close friend, told The PUNCH through a telephone conversation that Biglo died on December 25.
Jazzman said, “It is true that Biglo is dead. To my knowledge, he had been ill for a while. He had been battling kidney disease. He had been notifying the public via his social media account for a while now.”
” I got a call from our mutual friends in America last night that he died on Friday, which was Christmas day. Unfortunately, I do not know how old he was.”
Biglo announced his kidney ailment in 2018 and then a Gofundme page which he used to ask for public funds. He said he went through dialysis three times a week since his ailment was discovered.
Biglo disclosed how life became hard for him when he was diagnosed with kidney failure. He claimed he lost his job, his car and as well as his house all because of his ailment. He pleaded help from everyone to help him raise money and get a kidney transplant in India.
