Reports going round that artiste manager, Lawrence Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog has been arrested by the National Security for allegedly threatening the president on live television have been met with mixed reactions from social media users.
During an interview with popular actress and TV host Nana Ama Mc’brown on her show ‘United Showbiz”, artiste manager Bulldog was very critic of president AKufo-Addo.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo and the NPP government were responsible for the collapse of embattled gold dealership firm, Menzold, where customers who invested in the firm had their monies locked up.
Customers of the firm have since not had their monies remitted back to them.
Bulldog making a submission on UTV’s United Showbiz said that suggestions that customers invested at their own peril hence, cannot hold the government responsible for the inconvenience caused them is unacceptable.
He then proceeded to making a comment saying “We’ll get our monies back else Nana Addo will run; he won’t finish his 4 years. I’m telling you. He won’t finish his 4 years,”
The comment has however been widely spread on social media with many indicating Bulldog threatened the President of Ghana.
Some netizens are however of the view that the statement made by Bulldog doesn’t qualify as a threat and therefore should be released immediately.
