As some graduates in Ghana prefer chasing white-collar jobs after bagging degrees from universities, others are also the dreamers of entrepreneurship and being their own bosses, like Priscilla, the MOMO vendor.
In an interview with SV TV Africa, Priscilla indicated that she began the MOMO business four years ago with an amount of GHC2000. She further revealed that the business has made her a lot of money and she is not planning on quitting to do any office work.
Priscilla who studied Agricultural Science from the University of Education, Winneba and bagged her Masters degree in Food Science and Nutrition from the same institution disclosed that her colleagues who are now doing ‘office work’ often come to her for loans because they are secretly suffering.
She however noted that she settled for the MOMO business after numerous applications to different institution.
