#EndSARS: Osun State Governor’s Guards Kill Protestors

At least two protesters have been reported killed by men who were with Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s convoy in Osogbo, Osun State, during the #EndSARS protest on Saturday.

Witnesses say that the killing happened after some of the governor’s men open fire on protestors who were sort of blockcing the path of the convoy in Ayepe area of Osogbo some minutes past 4 p.m local time.

Pictures and videos showing the victims are also trending on social media, particularly, Twitter.

The protestors appeared to have been agitated by this and were therefore throwing stones and objects at the state governor’s convoy out of anger.

This incident have appeared to inflame passions in an already volatile situation in Osogbo where Jimoh Isiaq and some other protestors had been maimed by Police some days back.

Reports indicate that this has caused chaos in Osogbo as some parts of the city is currently literally on fire.
