Superstar disc jockey, Florence Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, has been accepted into the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom to complete her master’s degree.
The University of Oxford is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions.
The billionaire daughter shared the good news to her fans via her Instagram page on Friday, March 5, 2021.
She shared a video of herself announcing the news to her parents, who comgratulated her for her new achievement.
In the video, DJ Cuppy said;
“Mama and Papa, I have news to share with you. Remember I applied at Oxford last year for my masters? I got it. I am going to Oxford University. I am going to Lady Margaret Hall.”
The video was followed by other posts which she used to convey her excitement to her fans.
I another post, the “Gelato” crooner wrote;
“Huge news and I had to tell my parents first! … I’ve been accepted into Oxford University for a Masters!!! This degree is dedicated to @Nana_Otedola & @FemiOtedola #CuppyOnAMission.”
“My proudest achievement to date… Oxford University, see you in October! #CuppyOnAMission.”
She also used the opportunity to jokingly ask her father if he was ready to pay her school fees. She said, “I hope papa would just pay for my school fees.”
Replying to his daughter’s request, the billionaire said, “I have paid for your school fees long enough. I cannot afford to.”
In another post, it was revealed that DJ Cuppy will resume on October 11, 2021. It was also reported that the singer had earlier completed her first master’s degree in Music Bussiness from the New York University in 2015.
The disc jockey has continued to pull strings in the Nigerian Entertainment industry, as she has released several hit projects that made waves all over the continent.
