Burna Boy and Wizkid bagged an award at the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards as they continue to fly the Nigerian flag high in the entertainment industry even in the international waters. Their signature music continues to receive appreciation in Nigeria and internationally .
Burna Boy bagged an award as the winner of the “Best International Act” at the 2020 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, having mesmerized the regional and international audience with his brand sound and undeniable appeal.
Wizkid also bagged the “Best African Act” category award winning against the likes of Shatta Wale, Rema, Davido, Burna Boy among others, to attain the award.
The live event commemorated the most promising and brightest talent in the UK’s prevailing Black music scene, together with more established UK and international names. The event was hosted by Maya Jama and Chunkz.
The event featured actions from Headie One feat. M Huncho, H.E.R., Tiwa Savage, Ms Banks, Davido, Young T & Bugsey, Shaybo, Tiana Major9, Stylo G & Kojey Radical.
